The tradition treats Mercury in Libra as the mind of the mediator: courteous, fair and attentive to how words affect a relationship. Astrologers associate the sign with partnership, balance, beauty and agreements, and read this placement as favoring negotiation, collaboration and conversations that need tact. The same wish for balance is said to make decisions slow, as every side is weighed. One practical suggestion from this reading: bring a shared question to the table and look for terms that both sides can accept.
