Mercury passes from Virgo into Libra at 10:06 UTC on 18 September 2025. It stays for 18 days and leaves for Scorpio on 6 October 2025 at 16:41 UTC. There is no retrograde during the visit. Libra is a cardinal air sign ruled by Venus.
The tradition reads Mercury in Libra as diplomatic, fair minded and attentive to other points of view. Libra is associated with partnership, balance, negotiation and taste, so astrologers take this period to favor dialogue, mediation and careful phrasing. The same reading notes a tendency to weigh options so long that decisions stall, or to soften a message until it loses its point. A practical suggestion: when a choice is pending, list the arguments on both sides, then set a date to decide.
