Mercury in Virgo, 2027
Mercury enters Virgo on Tuesday 17 August 2027, 04:43 UTC, which is in your time zone. It leaves for Libra on Friday 3 September 2027, 11:37 UTC, after 17 days.
Mercury reaches one of its own signs on 17 August 2027 at 04:43 UTC, moving from Leo into Virgo. It stays 17 days, until 3 September 2027 at 11:37 UTC, when it enters Libra. No retrograde occurs during the stay. Virgo is an earth sign, mutable in quality, and is ruled by Mercury itself.
Because Mercury rules Virgo, the tradition treats this as a placement where the planet works comfortably: careful analysis, sorting, editing and attention to how things actually function. Astrologers read it as favorable for routines, checklists and useful service, with a caution against overcorrecting small flaws. A modest suggestion is to pick one cluttered system, such as a schedule or a folder of notes, and tidy it with a clear purpose in mind.
