Astrologers read Mercury in Taurus as slow, practical, sensory thinking. The sign is associated with steadiness, comfort, the body and material resources. This placement is said to favor careful decisions, plain speech and ideas that can be tested by hand. The tradition also notes a tendency toward stubbornness: holding an opinion after its reasons have changed. A modest suggestion: pick one practical task you have been discussing for a while and complete a first concrete step.
