Mercury enters Scorpio on Monday 27 September 2027, 09:10 UTC, which is in your time zone. It leaves for Libra on Saturday 16 October 2027, 07:36 UTC, after 19 days. During this stay Mercury turns retrograde from 7 October 2027 to 28 October 2027.
Mercury leaves Libra for Scorpio on 27 September 2027 at 09:10 UTC. Its stay is short and unusual. Mercury turns retrograde on 7 October 2027 while still in Scorpio, then backs into Libra on 16 October 2027 at 07:36 UTC, after 19 days. The retrograde period continues until 28 October 2027. Scorpio is a water sign, fixed in quality, ruled by Pluto.
The tradition treats Mercury in Scorpio as a probing, private kind of thinking: research, questions beneath the surface, and words chosen with care. Astrologers read a retrograde here as a season for review rather than launch, a time for revisiting conversations and rechecking details. A practical suggestion is to reread important messages before sending them and to give plans made in late September a second look.
