Mercury in Sagittarius, 2027
Mercury enters Sagittarius on Monday 29 November 2027, 10:24 UTC, which is in your time zone. It leaves for Capricorn on Saturday 18 December 2027, 11:58 UTC, after 19 days.
Mercury moves from Scorpio into Sagittarius on 29 November 2027 at 10:24 UTC and stays until 18 December 2027 at 11:58 UTC, when it crosses into Capricorn. The visit lasts 19 days. There is no retrograde during this stay, so the planet moves forward through the sign the whole time. Sagittarius is a fire sign of mutable quality, ruled by Jupiter.
Astrologers read Mercury in Sagittarius as thinking that reaches for the big picture: broad ideas, travel plans, teaching and frank speech. Because this is Jupiter's sign, the tradition treats the placement as generous with opinions and sometimes light on detail, favoring meaning over minutiae. A modest suggestion: when a conversation turns to large plans, write down one concrete next step before it ends.
