Astrologers read Mercury in Sagittarius as a mind interested in the big picture: beliefs, travel, teaching and the meaning behind the facts. The tradition counts this sign as Mercury's detriment, a place where broad ideas can outrun detail. Frankness and enthusiasm are said to come easily here, while precision takes more effort. Conversations about plans and principles are considered favored. A modest suggestion: when sharing a strong opinion, add one concrete example to support it.
