Mercury moves from Aquarius into Pisces on 14 February 2025 at 12:06 UTC. It stays 17 days, moving direct the entire time, and crosses into Aries on 3 March 2025 at 09:04 UTC. Pisces is a mutable water sign, ruled by Neptune in the modern scheme.
Astrologers traditionally consider Pisces a difficult sign for Mercury. Here the planet of precise thought meets a sign associated with imagination, empathy, intuition and blurred boundaries. The tradition reads this time as rich for poetry, music and reflection, and less suited to detailed work. Thinking is said to run on images and impressions, and facts can become hazy. One modest suggestion: give creative or reflective work some room, and double check names, numbers and appointments.
