Mercury in Aries, 2025
Mercury enters Aries on Monday 3 March 2025, 09:04 UTC, which is in your time zone. It leaves for Pisces on Sunday 30 March 2025, 02:18 UTC, after 27 days. During this stay Mercury turns retrograde from 15 March 2025 to 7 April 2025.
This is not a simple passage. Mercury enters Aries from Pisces on 3 March 2025 at 09:04 UTC, then turns retrograde on 15 March 2025 while still in the sign. Moving backward, it returns to Pisces on 30 March 2025 at 02:18 UTC, after 27 days in Aries, and the retrograde continues until 7 April 2025. Aries is a fire sign of the cardinal mode, ruled by Mars.
The tradition reads Mercury in Aries as quick, direct and impatient: thoughts that arrive fast and words that come out before they are polished. With a retrograde in the middle of the stay, astrologers usually advise reviewing rather than launching, since the retrograde is treated as a time for revisiting plans, messages and decisions. Haste is the theme most often named. A practical suggestion is to reread important messages before sending them and to allow extra time for plans that depend on others.
