Astrologers associate Neptune with ideals, imagination and the blurring of boundaries. They associate Aries with initiative, courage and the wish to act independently. The tradition reads Neptune retrograde in this sign as a season for questioning which ideals are worth acting on and which are borrowed. It is usually treated as a quieter, inward phase. A modest suggestion: take one hope you have carried for a while and write down a single concrete step it would require.
