Past, retrograde re-entry
Venus in Pisces, 2025
Venus enters Pisces on Thursday 27 March 2025, 08:41 UTC, which is in your time zone, moving backwards. It leaves for Aries on Wednesday 30 April 2025, 17:16 UTC, after 34 days. During this stay Venus turns retrograde from 2 March 2025 to 13 April 2025.
Venus had been moving retrograde since 2 March 2025, and on 27 March 2025 at 08:41 UTC it slipped back from Aries into Pisces, so this is a re-entry rather than a first arrival. The retrograde ended on 13 April 2025 while Venus was still in Pisces. The planet then moved forward again and returned to Aries on 30 April 2025 at 17:16 UTC, after 34 days in this water sign ruled by Neptune.
The tradition reads a Venus retrograde as a period for review rather than new beginnings in love, friendship and taste. In Pisces, the sign of compassion and imagination where astrologers consider Venus exalted, that review is taken to turn toward old attachments and unspoken feelings. A practical step is to revisit something unfinished, a letter, an apology or a creative project, before starting anything new.
