Venus retrograde, March 2025

Venus spends 42.0 days in apparent retrograde motion in early 2025. It stations retrograde on 2 March 2025 at 10°50' Aries and stations direct on 13 April 2025 at 24°37' Pisces, having crossed back from one sign into the other. The pre-retrograde shadow begins on 28 January 2025, and the post-retrograde shadow lasts until 16 May 2025.

The tradition treats Venus as the planet of affection, pleasure, beauty and what we value. Astrologers read its retrograde as a period for reflecting on relationships and tastes rather than rushing into new ones. As it moves from Aries, the sign of desire and directness, back into Pisces, the sign of tenderness and imagination, the tradition often links it to revisiting feelings from the past. A modest suggestion: spend time with something or someone you already value before looking for something new.
