Upcoming, retrograde re-entry
North Node in Sagittarius, 2029
North Node enters Sagittarius on Sunday 23 September 2029, 11:48 UTC, which is in your time zone, moving backwards. It is still there at the end of 2030.
The North Node, the point where the Moon's orbit crosses the Sun's apparent path, moves from Capricorn back into Sagittarius on 23 September 2029 at 11:48 UTC. The Node travels backward through the zodiac, so this step is a re-entry made in retrograde motion, and it does not change direction during this stay. It remains in Sagittarius well beyond the close of 2029.
Sagittarius is a mutable fire sign ruled by Jupiter, and the tradition links it with learning, travel, belief and the search for meaning. Astrologers read the North Node as a direction of growth: a place that feels unfamiliar at first but is taken to be rewarding. In this sign it is said to emphasize wider horizons and honest questions about what one believes and why. A modest step might be choosing one subject to study steadily over the coming months.
