Astrologers read Mercury in Capricorn as practical, measured and focused on goals. The sign is associated with structure, responsibility, time and sustained effort. The tradition takes the planet of thought here to favor plans, schedules and careful wording over speculation. Communication is said to become more formal and economical, sometimes to the point of sounding cool. One modest suggestion: write down a realistic plan for a single goal, with dates you can actually keep, and review it before the month is out.
