Mercury in Cancer, 2027
Mercury enters Cancer on Monday 12 July 2027, 13:48 UTC, which is in your time zone. It leaves for Leo on Monday 2 August 2027, 10:52 UTC, after 21 days.
Moving direct again, Mercury crosses from Gemini back into Cancer on 12 July 2027 at 13:48 UTC, its second pass through the sign this year. This time there is no retrograde, and Mercury stays for 21 days before entering Leo on 2 August 2027 at 10:52 UTC. Cancer is a cardinal water sign, ruled by the Moon.
The tradition reads Mercury in Cancer as communication colored by emotion and memory, attentive to home, family and the people one feels responsible for. On a second, forward pass, astrologers often treat the sign's themes as ready to be settled: what was reconsidered earlier can now be decided and said plainly. A modest suggestion: finish one household or family matter that has been waiting, and put the outcome in writing so everyone involved shares the same understanding.
