Mercury passes from Pisces into Aries on 31 March 2028 at 12:28 UTC. Its stay is short and direct, 15 days with no retrograde, ending when it moves into Taurus on 15 April 2028 at 11:48 UTC. Aries is a cardinal fire sign, ruled by Mars.
In the tradition, Mercury in Aries describes thinking and speech that are quick, frank and eager to begin. Aries themes include initiative, courage and self-assertion, so astrologers read this placement as favoring decisions, first drafts and direct conversations, while noting a tendency toward impatience and words spoken before they are weighed. A useful habit for these two weeks is to start the message or project that has been put off, then give it one calm reread before sending it out.
