From Leo, Mars moves into Virgo on 24 October 2028 at 01:10 UTC. It remains there for 58 days without turning retrograde, then passes into Libra on 21 December 2028 at 08:46 UTC. Virgo is an earth sign of the mutable modality, ruled by Mercury.
Astrologers read Mars in Virgo as drive directed toward detail, method and usefulness. Virgo's traditional themes include daily routines, craft, service and health habits, so the planet's push is taken to show up as a wish to fix, sort and improve. The tradition also cautions that the same precision can tip into criticism, of others or of oneself. One practical suggestion: choose a single system that has been bothering you, such as a filing method, a kitchen shelf or a weekly schedule, and refine it in small steps rather than overhauling everything at once.
