Venus in Sagittarius, 2027
Venus enters Sagittarius on Thursday 7 January 2027, 08:53 UTC, which is in your time zone. It leaves for Capricorn on Wednesday 3 February 2027, 14:31 UTC, after 27 days.
The new year opens with Venus moving from Scorpio into Sagittarius on 7 January 2027 at 08:53 UTC. It remains there for 27 days and crosses into Capricorn on 3 February 2027 at 14:31 UTC. Sagittarius is a mutable fire sign ruled by Jupiter, and Venus stays direct throughout, with no retrograde.
Astrologers read Sagittarius as the sign of travel, learning, candor and wide horizons, and the tradition treats Venus here as warm, frank and a little restless. Affection is linked with freedom, humor and shared ideas, and pleasure often comes from exploring something new. The usual caution is promising more than one can keep, or valuing novelty over steadiness. A practical suggestion for the start of the year: plan a small outing or class with someone you enjoy, and keep honest words friendly.
