Venus in Capricorn, 2029
Venus enters Capricorn on Monday 5 November 2029, 13:39 UTC, which is in your time zone. It leaves for Aquarius on Wednesday 6 March 2030, 12:51 UTC, after 121 days. During this stay Venus turns retrograde from 16 December 2029 to 26 January 2030.
This is an unusually long visit. Venus enters Capricorn from Sagittarius on 5 November 2029 at 13:39 UTC and does not leave for Aquarius until 6 March 2030 at 12:51 UTC, 121 days later. The reason is a retrograde: Venus appears to move backward from 16 December 2029 to 26 January 2030. Capricorn is an earth sign, cardinal and ruled by Saturn.
The tradition treats Venus in Capricorn as love and value expressed through commitment, structure and patience. Astrologers read a Venus retrograde as a period for review rather than new beginnings, a time to revisit relationships and what one truly values. In a sign tied to long-term building, that review is often framed around what deserves lasting time and care. A modest suggestion for the retrograde weeks: reflect on an existing bond before making new commitments.
