At 14:11 UTC on 21 June 2027, the Sun crosses from Gemini into Cancer, marking the June solstice. It remains in Cancer for 31 days, until 23 July 2027 at 01:05 UTC, when it enters Leo. Cancer is a water sign of cardinal quality, ruled by the Moon.
Astrologers read the Sun in Cancer as a season that turns attention toward home, family, memory and the people who feel like shelter. The tradition treats the Moon's sign as protective and responsive, attentive to moods and needs that are not always spoken. As a cardinal sign, Cancer is also read as a beginning, in this case of care and belonging. One modest suggestion: spend some unhurried time on your living space or with someone close, doing something simple together.
