Past, retrograde re-entry
Neptune in Pisces, 2025
Neptune enters Pisces on Wednesday 22 October 2025, 09:51 UTC, which is in your time zone, moving backwards. It leaves for Aries on Monday 26 January 2026, 17:35 UTC, after 96 days. During this stay Neptune turns retrograde from 4 July 2025 to 10 December 2025.
Neptune, moving retrograde, leaves Aries and re-enters Pisces on 22 October 2025 at 09:51 UTC. Pisces is a mutable water sign, and it is ruled by Neptune itself. The retrograde that began on 4 July 2025 ends during this stay, on 10 December 2025. Neptune remains in Pisces for 96 days and crosses back into Aries on 26 January 2026 at 17:35 UTC.
The tradition treats Pisces as Neptune's home sign, linked with compassion, imagination, spirituality, art and the blurring of boundaries. Astrologers often read a retrograde re-entry like this one as a final return to old themes before a new chapter: a chance to complete what was left unfinished and to let go of what no longer fits. A practical suggestion for these weeks is to finish one creative or caring task, and to rest when attention feels hazy.
