Mars in Scorpio, 2027
Mars enters Scorpio on Thursday 2 September 2027, 01:52 UTC, which is in your time zone. It leaves for Sagittarius on Friday 15 October 2027, 23:14 UTC, after 44 days.
After its time in Libra, Mars moves into Scorpio on 2 September 2027 at 01:52 UTC. It remains there for 44 days with no retrograde, entering Sagittarius on 15 October 2027 at 23:14 UTC. Scorpio is a fixed water sign, ruled by Pluto in modern astrology.
The tradition treats Scorpio as familiar ground for Mars, since Mars ruled the sign before Pluto was assigned to it, and astrologers read this placement as concentrated and persistent. Themes of the sign include intimacy, shared resources, secrets, loss and renewal. Mars here is taken to emphasize focus, privacy and the will to see something through, with a known risk of holding grudges or pushing too hard. A practical idea: choose one task that needs sustained effort, work on it quietly, and notice where intensity helps and where it only adds strain.
