Mars leaves Sagittarius and enters Capricorn on 15 December 2025 at 07:34 UTC, staying until 23 January 2026 at 09:17 UTC, when it moves on to Aquarius. The stay lasts 39 days. Capricorn is an earth sign of the cardinal mode, ruled by Saturn. Mars travels direct for the whole period, with no retrograde along the way.
Astrologers have long treated Capricorn as one of the places where Mars works best, because the sign's patience and structure give the planet's drive a clear direction. The tradition reads this stay as a time for steady effort, long-range goals and work that is measured by results rather than by noise. Ambition, responsibility and endurance are the themes usually named. A modest way to use these weeks is to pick one demanding task and give it a fixed, regular slot in your calendar.
