This new moon falls at 07:02 UTC on 9 November 2026, with the Moon and Sun together at 16°53' Scorpio. The Moon is 397,770 km away, toward the far end of its orbit, and there is no eclipse. No planet is within orb of a major aspect to the lunation. Six bodies are retrograde at the time: Mercury, Venus, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Chiron.
Astrologers read Scorpio, a fixed water sign ruled by Pluto, as the sign of depth, trust, shared resources and what lies below the surface. A new moon is traditionally a quiet beginning. With so many planets retrograde, the tradition leans toward revisiting rather than launching. With no close aspects, the lunation is read as fairly unmixed. A modest suggestion: return to one unfinished conversation or task and give it honest attention.
