Pisces receives the new moon of 8 March 2027, exact at 09:29 UTC, with the Sun and Moon together at 17°35' of the sign. The Moon is roughly 394,344 km from Earth, there is no eclipse, and no planet is within orb of a major aspect to the lunation. Mars and Jupiter are both retrograde at the time.
Pisces is a mutable water sign, ruled by Neptune in modern astrology, and the tradition associates it with imagination, compassion, rest and the softening of boundaries. Astrologers often read a Pisces new moon as a gentle, inward beginning rather than a forceful one. With Mars and Jupiter retrograde, the emphasis is taken to lean toward reflection over push. A practical suggestion is to leave some unscheduled time in the days around the new moon, for rest, music or a creative project you have set aside.
