Scorpio holds the full moon of 12 May 2025, exact at 16:56 UTC, with the Moon at 22°13' Scorpio and the Sun opposite at 22°13' Taurus. At 405,279 km, the Moon is beyond 405,000 km: this is an apogee full moon, often called a micromoon, and it appears slightly smaller than usual. There is no eclipse. Uranus opposes the Moon at 4.8 degrees, and Pluto is retrograde.
Scorpio is a fixed water sign, ruled by Pluto in the modern tradition, and associated with intensity, trust, shared resources and what lies beneath the surface. Astrologers read the Taurus and Scorpio axis as a question of what we keep and what we share. The Uranus opposition is taken to add an element of surprise. A modest suggestion: name one thing you have been holding onto quietly, and consider whether it still needs holding.
